In October I blogged about International Walk to School Day and the benefits of walking with our kids. You can imagine then how saddened I was to hear of the 7 year-old Georgia boy who was killed while crossing an intersection under the supervision of a crossing guard.
I took the opportunity to turn my grief into a journalistic therapy session. After speaking with some traffic safety experts,I came up with this commentary, which was posted on CNN.com today. Please remember to walk--and drive--safely, especially around schools!
